Spectera displays our continuing commitment to the highest level of quality and service through Crown Lab, our state-of-the-art optical laboratory in Baltimore, MD. Spectera's optical laboratory has been in operation for over 25 years and has established new standards of quality and efficiency for eyeglass fabrication in the vision care industry.

Crown Lab features upgraded equipment and software at every turn. Spectera's optical facility produces more than 6,500 pairs of glasses per week and offers such services as anti-reflective coating, tints, scratch-resistant surfaces, blended bifocals, and progressive lenses.

Richard Mecteau, an internationally renowned expert on optical laboratories, is the Senior Vice President of Spectera's optical laboratory.

Spectera's optical laboratory proudly maintains quality standards even more stringent than those set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
